Wagner-Stempel Riesling Siefersheimer Hollberg Rheinhessen Gg 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

From what is certain to be the next superstar estate in the Rheinhessen. Clear, pale gold color. Intense complex nose, dominated by fruity aromas, apricot and red vineyard peach fruit, with vegetal, herbaceous notes in the background. Dry, fresh and invigorating acidity, pronounced mineral notes, full-bodied, very well balanced, very long finish. Sourced from the oldest and best parcels of the Höllberg Grand Cru vineyard, extremely stony gravel and clay soil, with sub-soil of porphyry rock.

Wagner-Stempel:
Quality grows in the vineyard - that's why Daniel cares about cautious vineyard cultivation with extensive handwork to ensure healthy soils with balanced planting vegetation. The selective handpick is as obvious as the careful grape processing involving a delicate after care in the cellar and a sensible and slow development in stainless steel or wood - depending on the requirements of the must.
