Call me an odd duck, but I like the flavour. Tastes like sweet wet wine should with a bit of bite. Slightly acidic sour finish like a Sour Patch Kid, but I like the candy too so it sets well with me. Being alcohol free, drink up with a bottle or few, drive home, and you won't wake up sick tomorrow.

Crisp, sweet, almost red-apple flavour that gives a berry blast to any appetizer. Not overly sweet like a dessert wine and wet to finish. No dryness, bitterness, or woody tastes. Having Stella Rosa wines before, I knew not to expect a lot of alcohol nor the edge that comes with it, but is still an enjoyable treat.

Beringer is normally a name that brings a smile to my lips, but instead of getting my favourite sangria (the rose'), I got this one instead. I knew something was amiss immediately on the pour from the smell, then I checked the label. Grapefruit. Pink Grapefruit. Textbook "how to ruin sangria". Well, I smell it, maybe I won't taste it. *sip* Grapefruit. Sour, bitter, dry, nasty grapefruit, that's all I taste. None to worry, I have some Elderflower Cordial in the fridge that I usually use for tea. After a teaspoon of that into the wine, the wine was drinkable. If you love the evils of grapefruit, this may be the wine for you.

Potent dark ruby port that may have an oaken scent, but a super sweet almost cherry-like flavour. Despite being wet and sweet initially, there's just the right hint of dry and oak to finish to give it character. Although not a fan of oak nor dry, it's so subtle that I don't mind at all. At 20% ABV, best to sip it slow despite the yearning to finish the glass.

Flavourful sangria offering for sangria drinkers. If I'd never seen the label, my impression would be red grapes with pineapple and peach, but this is more of the result of the blend pictured than actual fruit content. Slightly tart, sweet, wet, and tropical. The potency invites ice to the party as a good sangria should. Deep ruby colour, and though good year round, I'd be partial to spring and fall enjoyment for this flavour.

Character to me is taking a sip and being able to say "I know what this is (where it's from, who made it)" or "this reminds me of when...(insert memory here)." Light red colour with a tint of pinkish orange. Scent is a little musky like a muscadine grape variety. First taste: a little tart, potent, and alcohol-y, but after a few more turns sweet and light. Not over-the-top cherry flavour, nor sugary, so bring a bag of chocolate along for the ride to create a perfect balance.

Genuine plum taste with a wet finish. The fruit within straddles the line of tart and sweet, so there's no doubt plum is front & center, though I tend to favour the sweets more than tart. Good to see plum wine outside of Japanese Sake with a respectable strength to boot.

Mt. Hope's offering reminds me most of ripe Bartlett pears: Sweet, a little dry (like the starchy fruit), and a clean finish. I am more of a fan of luscious sweet like a fully ripe Anjou pear, but this mild dinner wine offers a slight bit of fruit and lets the imbiber know that it is indeed wine. Not candy sweet, sophisticated, and with character. There's not one I can think to compare it to yet. Give it a go, especially if sugary fruit wines are too much for you.

Sweet white wine with hints of pear, peach, and perhaps cotton-candy grapes. Wet to start with a slight dry finish, but not tart or bitter. Light and refreshing, surely a party favourite or delicious enough to enjoy on it's own after dinner. I think this one gets unjustly overlooked and should definitely be considered a spring/summer classic
