Can anyone recommend a book that compiles the great legends behind some of the world's wine regions?

While doing some research, I'm learning a lot about the history of some of the world's wine regions. Take Chianti: the reason you see a black rooster on the label has to do with the original fight over land rights between Siena and Florence. It was decided that riders from both towns would start racing at dawn and wherever they met in the middle would decide the town boundary. The Florentines starved their rooster so it crowed earlier, setting the rider off earlier than the one from Siena. That's why there is more territory on the Florentine side, and the rooster is the mascot. I'd love to see a book that compiles stories like this, anyone know of one?
