Hermitage Wine

The Northern Rhone’s most important appellation, Hermitage is a south-facing slope overlooking the town of Tain L’Hermitage which is planted mostly to Syrah. White Hermitage is right and round, and is made from Marsanne and Roussanne. The best of these Syrahs combine power and finesse and are very ageworthy. It’s not going too far to say that this is the place in the world where the Syrah grape finds its best expression.
