    Melville continues to be one of my favorite wines in the Lompoc/Santa Rita Hills area. Their wine is as good as the heralded Sea Smoke not too far away. Carrier's in my opinion is there best Pinot Noir. It has a spectatular aroma with excellent blackberry flavors. Read More

  • Qupe Central Coast Syrah 2005

    One of my faves, this is the ticket if you like big fruity wines. Hints of spice and a floral aroma but otherwise a pretty soft and easy drinker. A great Syrah for under $20. Actually, it's not just Syrah, it's 84% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 4% Counoise, 3% Mourvedre and a bit of Mondeuse, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. Read More
