  • Agreed again that Veuve's prestige cuvee  is better than Dom--I haven't had a ton of Dom, but had a nice sampling at the cave in '88 and was... unimpressed.  For the money, I'll take the Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque.  Gimmicky bottle aside (even that I like) the juice inside is still quite good.  A current favorite grower Champ is Pierre Paillard....
