Dark, earthy and funky on the nose this shows Barbera as the fruit begins to fade leaving behind complex spice, earth, and dried red and black fruit aromas along with some obvious VA. A favorite of ours for a decade - happy to see them still in production. A very smooth sparkling wine that pairs wonderfully with Pork Roast. Hints of fresh strawberry and raspberries, with a smooth, "creamy" feel on the palate. Excellent sparkling wine - a steal actually. Read More
