Mercury International was founded as a wine distribution company in 1997 to answer the glaring need for an international distribution & logistics solution for boutique California wineries. Mercury served as the major freight forwarder for over 200 wineries. In the early 1990’s, seeing the encroachment of UPS and FedEx to take over the wine industry shipping, Sanford used his personal rapport with most winery owners & winemakers to start a unique wine club, second to none; Mercury Wine Club. – Description from markomkc
