this wine and liquor shop is one of the best I've been to. They have a wonderful surplus of wines from Spain and South American. The owner is extremely knowledgeble and suggests wine of various prices, locals, and character. I don't think I have ever been dissapointed, but have on occasion been very pleasantly surprised and found a new dilight to accompany our dinners. PAGO FLORENTINO Tinto 2004 or 2005 was one of those beauties. Long finish, deep dark, plum, bosenberry, blackberry, with hints of spice. My favorite meal with this delectable wine is lamb chops, grilled asparagus with pasta with garlic and oil. – Description from amaynard

  • Well, we've been catching up on a lot of things on our return to the Inland Empire.Let me add this to OT's report on the VA wines.  I found that, consistently, the VA wines do not "slap you in the face with fruit."  So, often, California wines are "cherry" or "blackberry" or "grapefruit."   There were only two wines in the VA tastings that did t...
