Hello Snooth!

I love red wines with strong flavour and white wines with grape flavour.

My most exciting wine experiences, a Giuseppe Quintarelli Amarone Classico and a Torrontés from bodega Colomé.

Welcome to the Snooth Forum, EBob.  I know we have at least one regular around here who will be happy to chat about Amarone experiences with you.

Amarones are fantastic wines, but Giuseppe Quintarelli is more than its wines, is the tipical italian craftsman from the north of Italy, who knows his craft to perfection.

We drink that very expensive bottle as a tribute to the man, to the caftsman, and we compare it with other two Amarone in blind, the Quintarelli shined, and the other two, were pretty good wines. He died last year, his art will go with him.

By the way, if anybody could give me any idea in how to learn more about Azienda Agricola Terre Molin (Negrar) and its wines, I will be gratefull.

Welcome Eboben,

I'm the Amarone fan!  I haven't had the GQ, probably because I can't get any here in Victoria BC.  He probably doesn't produce thousands of bottles per year?  I'm content with Bertani, Zenato, Tedeschi and even Masi.  I have a bunch from 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006.  I havent't bought any for a few years.  Time to start enjoying some of the older ones!
