Hey Cdean,

Lamb is such a great match with red wine that I'm sure you'll find many pairings that work well. The orange may throw of some wines but I think this is a natural for a new world Pinot that sees some oak. Many new world Pinots have a touch of citrus to them, almost a grapefruit note that would compliment the orange tones. A few choice might include;

The last wine is produced from fruit that comes from the Rosella vineyard. This vineyard is famed for it's grapefruit note or grapefruity acidity. If Pinot is not your thing a Syrah from Rosellas could be just the ticket. The Novy is drinking well right now; Though not from the Rosella vineyard the is one of my favorite California Syrahs and has zippy acidity that would pair well with your dish.

I hope you find a wine that works well with your dish! You have alot of options out there. I'm sure you'll be able to snooth out the right wine!

Thanks for the info, unfortunately all three of those wines are unavailable to me in Utah. However I was able to find Jeriko 2005 Mendocino Pinot Noir for under $15. Ever had it?

Hey cdean. That slipped my mind! So sorry. I have not had the Jeriko but Mendocino is a great region for Pinot with its cooler climate influenced by the moderating ocean breezes. I'm sure it'll make a fine match for your beef dish. Let us know how it goes!
