fibo86, thanks for the heads up. The part you copy and pasted doesn't seem to include that event's date (30 March 2009).

Incidentally, I'm actually in Philadelphia, not NYC, although much of Snooth is up that way and I expect Philip, Mark, and RBoulanger at least may well be interested. I hit the 2008 Philly Whiskey Festival -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philad... , since the PLCB's page for the thing is gone now -- and probably will again next year. It's a bit cheaper, clocking in at $95 last year (or free if you're industrially connected, of course).

Whiskylive = Greg uses a sick day!

3 years ago I got destroyed at Whiskylive. Well not actually at the event but at an afterparty with cigars (blech) and all the really good stuff. i just could not say no!

Just FYI, I've figured that out.

I just figured that if I can't go (and lets face it they always miss Australia) then someone can be my eye's and ears for me? looking for the Ardbeg supanova and a few other rare or new sort of things.

Ardbeg was definitely present (and wonderful) in Philly, I don't recall whether there was any Supernova there, though.

The supanova is one of the latest products, atm only for ardbeg stock holders or board members (i think) but due to be released or tasted at Whiskylive and not only do I want one to add to my collection.....I just want one especially if it's going to be limited ( not too sure of), no I lie 1 to drink and 1 to add to my collection.
So to whomever does decide to go PLEASE, PLEASE can you post some photo's and also see if you can get the Compass Box -Orangie or anythig else rare or unusual Photo wise?
