Winemaker's Notes:
This Washington state red blend opens with generous aromas of crème de cassis and sweet blackberries. Fleshy, dark fruit flavors are joined by notes of wild huckleberries and a subtle pie crust nuance. Balanced by soft and velvety tannins, this smooth, easy drinking wine finishes with hints of toast and mocha.

Add your reviewThis is possibly the best and smoothest red blend I have tasted in this price point yet. Its has subtle dark cherry and plum overtones with a smooth and very easy to drink finish. The finish beckons one to linger and savor...EXCELLENT! I would put this up against some of the much more expensive California blends such as Scheid anyday of the week.

Winemaker's Notes - The growing season was perfect with dry, warm weather and lots of sunshine. Although bloom was delayed slightly by cool spring weather, warm temperatures soon returned and perfect ripening weather lasted through September. A freeze in the Columbia Valley on October 10 led to a slightly early end to the harvest season; however, most grapes were already picked or had already reached a good level of maturity. Overall, the 2009 vintage produced white wines with lots of natural acidity and fruit-forward flavors. This vibrant white wine offers aromas of fresh fruit salad with a hint of floral and citrus notes. On the palate, juicy flavors of peach, apple, pear and melon give way to a refreshing finish.
