Lightest cherry colour. Slight bricking. Scent is very Brunello-Sangiovese, with dried Maraschino cherry and cedar bark prominent. Entry is velvet smooth - with a hint of vanilla (oak) but only a hint of tannin on the finish. Surprisingly mature. Less powerful than anticipated, but it has been a while between bottles. Excellent value, though, with plenty of acid for the cellar-wise buyer. Drink now to 2023 and beyond. A solid 4 cups or 92 points.
