Beaux Frères Pinot Noir Ribbon Ridge Beaux Frères Vineyard 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

A medium to full-bodied wine with sweet tannin, low acidity and an bouquet of 'foresty' underbrush, redcurrants and black cherries. With a hint of Asian spices it has undeniable charm, silkiness and velvety texture. It should drink nicely over the next 5 to 8 years. Not yet reviewed; 2008 vintage rated 93 points by Wine Spectator.

Sleek and silky, with pretty cherry and mineral flavors that glide seamlessly through the long, vivid finish. This has depth, deft balance and welcome restraint. Drink now through 2017. 2,400 cases made. -HS Wine Spectator. A Pinot Noir wine from Oregon in USA. 2009 Beaux Freres Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 750ml

Perhaps the most collectible Pinot Noir in America, Beaux Freres has set a standard that few can match. A partnership between renowned wine critic Robert Parker and his brother-in-law, the winery produces only Pinot Noir. The Willamette Valley cuvée features fruit grown on select vineyard sites in Yamhill County. The wine benefits from the same integrity in the winemaking process as the estate wines. The sites are farmed sustainably and managed to very low yields. It was aged in the same French oak barrels used in the estate bottling, however the percentage of new oak is intentionally lower. This cuvée consists of wine made from the following vineyards: Zena Crown, Beaux Frères, Gran Moraine, Amalie Robert, and Upper Terrace. And as always it is bottled unfined and unfiltered. EXTREMELY LIMITED!!! vineyard.
