Bessa Valley Enira Red 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2010 Enira is a blend of 40% Merlot, 50% Syrah and 10% Petit Verdot, all aged in used French oak for 12 months. Feeling full in the mouth with refined tannins (but a real backbone), this is impeccably balanced, very flavorful (with restrained oak impact) and simply a pleasure to drink. A little earthy complexity pops up on the finish and the velvety texture is rather sensual, too, although it becomes much crisper with aeration. This is easy to like. Drink: 2015 - 2022" - Winery

Binny's 11/17. Superbly balanced red blend. I really liked it, it mellowed in the glass after being sharp out of the bottle. Lots of flavors and a long dry finish, which usually means more for tomorrow, but for some reason on this leap year day this bottle emptied in a hurry. Likely my first Bulgarian wine, yay me for experimenting.
