Bodegas Nora Albariño Rías Baixas 2005

Member Review by drdebs:

Light gold in color. Sweet honeysuckle and orange blossom aromas. Citrus with bracing acidity and a dry finish. Somehow manages to be both round and fresh. Very good with Portuguese pork and clam stew.

Crisp, dry, bracing, refreshing.... I can't wait to have this with a Tortilla Espaniola.

This bold white is unctuous in texture, delivering rich flavors of pear, melon, pineapple and vanilla. But it has enough acidity to remain lively, with a crisp, floral finish. Drink now through 2009. 150 cases imported. Wine Spectator. A Albarino wine from Galicia in Spain. 2005 Nora, Vina Albarino 750ml

This refreshing white from the northwest reaches of Spain is made from 100% Albariño varietal. It exhibits tropical fruit flavors and a zesty acidity, making this a perfect pairing with fresh seafood.
