88 points. Wine has typical roten grape smell in the beginning but gets much better and pleasant after a while. plenty of tannins deposits but still enough in the wine. very austere with plenty of acid. otherwise well balanced. This is a difficult vintage some wines never fully developed. 35 years later I still think it needs time! I cannot recommend buying this wine for pleasure just for looking back and getting a historical perspective
