Martial Michel, a qlove manufacturer, owned it from 1923 to 1938 but he sold it to Chateau Palmer and it was bought in1980 by Lucien Lurton who is from a well known wine making family In 1992, at the aqe of 33, Denis Lurton, Lucien°s son, took over the running of Desmirail.There are 30 hectares under vine.
