Chateau du Bos Graves 2016

Member Review by duncan 906:

I bought this bottle of wine from a shop in Sussex [www.southdowncellars.co.uk] for £10.Graves is an appellation created in 1937,although there has been viticulture here since at least the Romans, for dry white and red wines from 44 communes south of the City of Bordeaux My bottle is from a small estate at the southern end of the appellation not far from the town of Langon and consists of 65% cabernet sauvignon and 35% merlot. It is a full bodied and well structured but dry wine with plenty of a blackberry and blueberry style fruit with a hint of coffee or smoke and soft tannins. In short this is a lovely claret
