Chateau Ferran 2016

Member Review by zufrieden:

My first tasting of wine from this estate, and the 2016 presents nicely with a deep, dark Kirsch-like cherry red robe (Petit Verdot effect?). The bouquet is of crushed small red/black fruit such as currant, blackberry and cassis. The slight medicinal entry with medium vanilla tannin overlays the plummy flavour profile. Opens up after 20 minutes and is very approachable. A well-priced, delicious Pessac-Leognan (Graves). 90.

This wine is minerally, with cool dark fruits and fine tannins. Full and long. Best ever from here. James Suckling. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Ferran 750ml
