Château Grand Pey Lescours Red Bordeaux Blend St. Émilion Grand Cru 2008

Member Review by Naticket:

We've (me and my wife) tried this in Europe this summer twice(Belgium and Holland). We've really enjoyed it with many types of food. Look forward to buy it again.

An elegantly dark eggplant-purple hue introduces you to this wine. The enticing aromas of black cherry, oak and vanillin draw you into this feathery-soft Bordeaux. As hospitable as the black cherry and oak tastes are, the Provençal herbal layers, which should be drawn out with some decanting, invite you to stay longer. Best enjoyed with roasted lamb or something gamey.

A lovely Saint-émilion, rooted in rich berry fruit. With its supple tannins and generous fruit, this Merlot-based wine can be enjoyed now or over the next few years.
