Château Rol Valentin Rosé Blend Bordeaux Rosé 2009

Member Review by dynowine:

Falls more on the berry side of the rose spectrum. Nose of dried flowers, fallen foilage, light perfume, and indistinct red berry and melon. Slight acid bite with slightly candied ripe light fruit (oranges and red berry) with hints of wood and steel. Long finish with aged wood, steel, and ripe hard cheese fading. Dryish to off-dry. Body medium (slightly heavy for a rose), acid medium. 13.8%abv.

The color of this beautiful rose is an intense, translucent magenta. Pure aromas of strawberry mash with light, spicy notes make the palate thirst for a taste. Ripe merlot from the excellent 2009 vintage provides the foundation for a fruit forward pa... Chuck Hayward. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Rol Valentin Rose 750ml
