Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards Test Pilot Blend 2007

Member Review by Chris Carpita:

Black licorice on the nose, with black + blue berries, pepper, and tobacco. Fairly mild and mostly oak driven. Nice structure in the mouth, dry and chalky with some fruit acidity on the middle, dry and somewhat tart finish.

Winemaker Emeritus George Cooper refined his craft by learning from his fellow vintners in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Napa Valley, Burgundy, and Bordeaux. Read less
