Domaine Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru les Cazetiers 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

"An agreeably fresh if restrained dark berry fruit nose of newly turned earth and sauvage notes leads to strikingly intense, powerful and concentrated medium-weight flavors that are built on a pungent minerality, all wrapped in a complex, explosively long, balanced and driving finish. This is a dazzlingly good effort though note well that it is expressly built to age and it will need plenty of it." *-Burghound (92-94 Points)*"Good full, medium red. Dark raspberry, smoke, game and leather on the nose, plus a suggestion of medicinal reserve. Supple and quite concentrated but youthfully closed, showing a saline minerality but limited sweetness today. The tannins are a bit rough in the early going." *-Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (90-93 Points)*
