Domaine Francois Baur Pinot Blanc "Herrenweg" 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

The white wines of Alsace, named after their grape varietal--and not their place of origin--are another world altogether: mostly light to medium-bodied, mouthwatering and will accompany fish, simple roasted chicken and vegetable dishes wonderfully."Open-knit and fresh, this shows good balance between lively acidity and the lightly honeyed flavors of pineapple, melon and kumquat."Wine Spectator
