Harry Karis (The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Wine Book): The red Vieilles Vignes is made from 60% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Cinsault and 10% Counoise... The fields are treated organically, according to 'agriculture raisonnée'... Grapes are destemmed and vinified,not by type but by vineyard, in concrete tanks for 20-25 days. The wine is matured for 12-18 months first in concrete tanks and then in old foudres. This wine is labeled as Cuvée Unique for the US importer NBI. (2009)

Domaine La Millière:
Close by the ancient city of Orange, Domaine La Millière is located in the northern part of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in Cabrières. Nestled amidst unspoilt nature where the vine is queen, La Millière is home to the fifth generation of a family in which the profession of winegrower has been passed down from father to son.
