Edenvale Winery Malbec Rogue Valley 2003

Winemaker's Notes:

This Malbec is a beautiful garnet color with notes of coffee, blueberry and cocoa powder, enhanced with a sweet, floral nose. The tannins are soft and bring forward flavors of dried plum and cassis. Pairs well with lamb, duck or mushroom dishes. The 2003 vintage is very small as it is our first production of this varietal. Expect this varietal to stay on our wine list as it has shown itself to be a star within our portfolio of big, bold red wines.

EdenVale Winery:
EdenVale wines are obtained from aristocratic vines, cultivated to perfection by select growers dispersed along the regions' finest vineyards. Thanks to the exposure and positioning of the vines and to the ideal microclimates, with cold winters and hot and bright summer months, the richness of this “terroir” produces the signature reputation for the Rogue wine producing region.
