decanted for about 1/2 hour. incredibly dark, with virtually no bricking. Old-school burgundy funk and iron dominate the nose with hints of rosemary. The palate has a sense of cool minerals and iron- almost like cold steel with significant weight on the mid-palate wrapped by dark fruits. This got better as the night went on as it added more weight and complexity. terrific wine.
