Faiveley Musigny Grand Cru 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

94-97 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): (100% whole cluster fermentation; approximately 140 BOTTLES made) This too is stunningly deep aromatically and while the nose presents a completely different fruit and mineral profile, it matches the Bèze for sheer breadth and almost does so for sheer depth as well with perhaps more finesse as the silky flavors dance across the palate yet the finish is like a bomb exploding. Wow, this isn't quite as powerful but it's one unbelievable classy drink. Drink: 2017+. (Jan 2007)
