Faiveley Nuits St Georges les Damodes 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

92-95 points Fine Wine Review: The Nuits-Damodes is from the top of the Damodes vineyard, right on the border with Vosne. In recent years, vineyard modifications have improved this wine, and 2012 is no exception. The dark plums suggested by the name show through in the nose. The mouth is light, intense, precise, and airy with penetrating red fruit. (5/20/15)

Bright dark red. Captivating precision to the aromas of flowers crushed stone chocolate and cardamom. Sweet silky and smooth but with excellent energy to the dense berry and spice flavors. Still a bit youthfully tight but spreads out impressively on the long perfumed finish. This weightless wine leaves the salivary glands quivering. Stephen Tanzers IWC.
