Francois Baur Pinot Blanc Herrenweg 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

Pierre and Thomas Baur carry on the traditions of the past generations while keeping an eye forward to the future. Their deep knowledge of the Terroir and strict work in the Vineyards enables them to enhance the complexity of the wines they produce. They view themselves as working a natural treasure with the promise of preserving and improving it for their descendants. The great quality of [their] wines is directly correlated to the attention we pay in the Vineyards. -Winery Notes

The soil is therefore sandy and coarse. Its homogenous granite make up and excellent microclimate particularly favour the production of Riesling, Tokay Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, the vines of which cover 57,95 hectares. Read less
