Graham Beck Chenin Blanc Bowed Head 2008

Member Review by Charterhouse:

An oaked Chenin Blanc, and a very good one at that - more oaky than the Game Reserve Chenin from the same winemaker. Nicely fresh and zesty but with a nice rounded mouth as a result of the 30% oaking in new French oak barrels which gives a creamy aftertaste. This will keep well for anything up to 7 years if cellared, and goes well with asian food or seafood, or just by itself as a Summer aperitif.
