Le Cloître du Château Prieuré-Lichine Margaux 1984
Winemaker's Notes:
In 1972, Alexis Lichine first made the estate’s second wine under its original label of Château de Clairefont, or as it is also called now, Le Cloître du Château Prieuré-Lichine. This Margaux benefits from the same methods of harvesting, vinification and follow-up as the Classified Growth. It is made with the grapes of younger vines and is aged in second and third-fill barrels for 14 months.

Château Prieuré-Lichine is a Great Classified Growth located in the heart of Margaux appellation (Bordeaux area, France). With 173 acres of vineyards, the Château is producing three red wines and a white wine. The estate is offering guided tours and tastings on booking. It is also possible to purchase wine on the premises.
