Cinnamon and cherry nose. Flavors have a bit of spice, leather and dark fruit. Not as bright as other Pinot. Great tar character.

Great bright ruby color, very clear, as expected in a young Pinot Noir. It has a very inviting nose of red cherry and slight rose. the first taste is also of red cherry and red berries, a little tang of rubarb and strawberry. finish is short lived, too bad because it's quite enjoyable.

This is a light burgundy but don't let that throw you. It is a lovely wine, elegant and complex enough to satisfy the most enthusiastic burgundian aficionado. Redolent with the requisite black cherries, it is laced with hints of plum, nectarine and apricot. A luscious match with pasta and lighter fare, it would add grace and charm to canopies and Vienna sausages.

This is a limited vintage from the highest block of the Goodchild vineyard, an outstanding location to grow the superior clone 667. fermentation took place in small, 1½ ton fermenters which were punched down manually 3-4 times daily for approximately 10 days. barrel aged for 10 months in 40% new French oak barrels, this is a dark, rich wine with superb black cherry, toast, and spice character.
