At Maysara Winery we practice holistic farming, employing practices from both organic and Biodynamic® agriculture. By using such methods we not only believe that we are enhancing the ecology of our land, but also growing the best grapes possible. We believe that healthy soil and healthy vines will produce superior grapes, without the need for man-made chemicals and poisons. Our quality shows in the dedication of our grape buyers year after year, and the wines produced with Momtazi grapes, which are often the best of their vintage. The consistent high quality of the wines made from Momtazi Vineyard grapes leads us to believe that our dedication to the terroir and our natural farming techniques is working. Read less

Provides access to Willamette Valley Pinot Noir for an affordable price. This wine is full-bodied, fruity with a long finish--what we cheapskates are after--what any wine drinker is after. Great with salmon or pizza--I'd want a bottle to drink with a good steak, too. Recommended highly, mostly for inexperienced Pinot drinkers looking for a taste of what our country's best Pinot Noir growing region produces. This wine proves that there are some great, drinkable wines out there for under $20. The quality/price ratio allows me to rate this 4 of 5.
