Mcprice Myers Cuvee Kristina Red 2016

Winemaker's Notes:

“Deep vivid ruby. Energetic, sharply focused red berry, floral pastille and Asian spice qualities on the nose, along with suggestions of incense and smoky minerals. Sweet and seamless in texture, offering intense raspberry liqueur, spicecake and lavender pastille flavors that deepen and expand on the back half. Clings with impressive authority on the youthfully tannic finish, which leaves a suave floral note behind.” – _Vinous_ *(95 points)*“The 2016 Cuvée Kristina (70% Syrah, 28% Grenache and 2% Viognier) is, I believe, a new wine from the estate, and it’s sourced from a number of vineyards in the Central Coast including Les Galets, Larner, Shadow Canyon (York Mountain), and Kimsey Vineyards. This deep purple-colored effort offers lots of black and blue fruits, plenty of pepper, medium to full body, rocking purity of fruit, and great length and intensity. It has upfront charm but will keep nicely for 7-8 years.” – _Jeb Dunnuck_ *(94 points)*
