Nautilus Estate Pinot Noir 2013
Winemaker's Notes:
"Medium ruby-purple, the 2013 Pinot Noir is intensely scented of black cherries and black raspberries with hints of roses, dried thyme and black pepper. Medium-bodied, it fills the palae with juicy black fruit and silky tannins marked by a refreshing backbone and good length."- Wine Advocate

Editorial Reviews for Nautilus Estate Pinot Noir
Lightly smoky and stemmy, this shows hints of oak and dried herbs over red berry fruit. Fruity on entry with mineral-laced red cherry flavors that pick up some nutty oak on the mid-palate and hints of herbs and a touch of beet root on the back end. This is rather vivid and decidedly fruit driven, though it does pick up a touch of noticeable oak on the long finish along with a wash of savory tannins that serve as contrast to the fruit of the palate. That fruit, succulent and bright sour cherries and raspberries, does outlast the oak right through to the bright finale. Yummy. 92pts

A highly expressive nose features essence of red pinot with spice and floral nuances. There is good detail and plenty of verve to the delicious and intense middle weight flavors that exhibit fine balance and persistence on the clean and dry finish where a touch of wood surfaces. Lovely juice. 2017+ Burghound.

Medium bright red. Fresh, nuanced aromas of black cherry, menthol and smoke, lifted by a note of orange peel. Sweet, spicy and fairly deep, with a refreshing character to the spicy red berry and orange peel flavors. The firmly tannic finish features good grip and length. A very good pinot value.
