Pavelot Savigny-les-Beaune Blanc 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

90+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): Hugues Pavelot's 2015 Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc is outstanding and this will drink beautifully from the get go, but has a bit more backend mineral complexity and grip than the very tasty Saint Romain. The nose jumps from the glass in a vibrant blend of pear, apple, lime peel, stony minerality and a topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely juicy on the attack, with a fine core, sound framing acids and lovely shape and focus on the long and minerally finish. A lovely example. 2016-2030. (Nov/Dec 2016)
