Redwood Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Premier 2011
Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:
This smells downright grapey, grape jello like with a hint of spice and herb. Soft, low intensity, fruity and slightly creamy with a bit of wood tannin appearing on the mid-palate. This is a fruit bomb in a very minor note finishing with some woody tannins and a bit of inky extraction. This doesn't try to be more than it is, and it fairly succeeds at being a bit innocuous but well made. 83pts

Utterly appalling. A watery red with virtually nothing on the palate. Unless you're chronically unemployed and sleepwalking through the super market liquor department, you have no business going anywhere near this stuff. 61 points.
I enjoyed the wine. A fine wine for the price. I rated a 4 on price and taste. We can certainly find better wines but for the price u will enjoy.

This Cabernet has dark, rich flavors of cocoa and blackcherry that are complimented by a touch of vanilla oak. Its finish is soft and elegant. Ideal with barbeque and savory sauces.

Redwood Creek Cabernet Sauvignon showcases aromas of rich, dark fruit and unfolds layered flavors of spice, mocha, and vanilla on the palate. Medium-bodied, this wine closes with smooth tannins into a satisfying fruit finish.

Scores high on the deliciousness factor. Itrsquo;s just loaded with blackberry pudding, cassis, milk chocolate and licorice flavors, and it finishes soft and dry. Sure, itrsquo;s not a First Growth, but it offers real Cabernet pleasure at an everyday price.

This sappy Cab may not have the purest varietal character, but with its blackberry fruit flavors, tinged with a roasted beef earthiness, it would stand up to a plate of ribs nicely.

Nice and smooth, with some real varietal flavors. This soft, easy wine tastes like blackberries, and finishes with some spice.
