Great big Italian wine. Good blend of tannins and fruit to make for a great bottle. Drinks much better after a good decant

Left this one open for a few days (2-3) before drinking the majority of it. Definitely benefited from some time open. Fairly small nose, not a ton going on. A little whiff of alcohol but that's about all to report. It's very jammy upfront. Ripe red fruits predominate and there's an under-layer of spice that gives it a nice bit of complexity. Oak too but nothing too overwhelming, Very clean finish with some hints of vanilla and some floral notes. This definitely isn't an aggressive wine by any means, but for everyday drinking, it's flexible, balanced and clearly quality.

Wine Tasting NotesThis wine is full bodied with a deep ruby-red color and a complex bouquet. The flavor of mature fruit is accented by harmonious notes of vanilla from the French and American oak.

A hearty, red wine that's full of blackberry fruit and dark chocolate. A blend based on Negroamaro with some Malvasia Nera coming from the "boot" of southern Italy, Apulia. Excellent with aged, hard cheese or any variety of rich red meats such as lamb.
