Santa Julia Malbec Rose Mendoza 2017

Editorial Review by Snooth Editorial:

Strawberry, cranberry and raspberry aromas with some citrus and a light green note on the nose. In the mouth this is soft and delicate with a creamy mouthfeel and fruit flavors of chunky watermelon and strawberry, turning a bit floral on the finish with some funky earth notes.

Bodega Santa Julia:
Santa Julia is a label offshoot of Familia Zuccardi wines from Mendoza, Argentina. The wine is named after Julia Zuccardi, daughter of chief winemaker José Alberto Zuccardi. The wines are organic (although not certified under US law) and handmade, with close attention to detail. This is an affordable range of dry and sparkling wines as well as a late harvest Torontes/Viognier blend called simply “Tardio.”
