Spangler Vineyards & Winery:

While searching extensively for our dream small family-owned winery, we, Pat and Loree Spangler, fell in love with Southern Oregon. The warm weather and multiple microclimates allow us to pursue our passion for Bordeaux-varietal wines--our location is extremely conducive to growing Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The beautiful landscape of the Hundred Valleys of the Umpqua is a joy to view each and every day, and the warm, close-knit community in which we can raise our daughter, Sydney, convinced us that Roseburg would be our new home. In 2004 we moved to Southern Oregon's Umpqua Valley, purchasing an established winery and vineyards. Old vine Cabernet Sauvignon, planted 1968-1971, is own-rooted and dry-farmed.
