Made from the combination of the two distilleries of Yoichi and Miyagikyo. This whisky, store and matured for 17 years in oak casks, is caracterized by a spicy, fruit nose and a round palate with a hint of sherry casks and a long soft finish.

The appearance shows the ruby color from the burgundy cask right off, and the nose opens with the charred oak and vanilla, and then opens to milk chocolate and Turkish delight. Apple, cranberry, hard nuts and a richness with creamy texture round out the palate. The finish is spicy and lengthy.

Dorothy Thorpe produced her classic mid-century glassware by dipping blank glassware from high quality European and American manufacturers in silver. Others copied her, but without the elegance of the extra-wide silver band of Thorpe designs. Cocktail/water pitcher with ice guard and sterling silver band. 40 oz., 5" tall, 7/8"band. No markings. Very good pre-owned condition. Only one available.

This whisky starts in first fill bourbon cask and then spends 12 months in 225 liter chateau Suduiraut Sauterne cask from Bordeaux. The nose opens with a sweetness, honey, vanilla and toasted oak. Citrus and sweet on the palate, the rich and creamy dram opens to some tropical fruit with pineapple and orange peel. The fnish is rich with chocolate and crme brulee.

This whisky starts in first fill bourbon casks and then spends 12 months in Pedro Ximinez Spanish Sherry casks.Deep dark richness from the sherry cask, the nose opens with Cereal notes, toffee and apples. The palate is again rich and creamy with notes of dried apricots and dates with a malty cereal grain which is consistent throughout the line of malts. The dried fruits and a candied dark demerara sugar continue on the lengthy finish.
