Intensly welcoming bouquet leads to a bevy of dark fruit flavor on the palate. This wine will evolve and achieve even more voluptuousness in flavor with a few years of age. Recieved 95pts from Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

Explosive nose, rich and vibrant. Lots of cedar, black cherries, Asian spices, and something faintly resinous. Testarossa continues to produce outstanding Pinots.

A multitude of flavor roars through the nose. The shade is dark, a color one would create using a mixture of the ripest of berries. Medleys of silky fruit elegance make their way down the palate eluding to a superb lingering finish. August 2013. The wine has now aged just as outstandingly as I had anticipated. The depth of the bouquet finds the essence of a finely balanced pinot, a flourishingly soft full bodied mouthfeel continues to wow your palate with that memorable lingering finish.

Begining with a deep bountifully aromatic nose, the wine makes its way through your palate with a bevy of ripe fruit flavor. Legs elegant and lengthy leading to a romantic memorable finish.

Vintage: 2008 11/12/2010

Rating: 88/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the October 2010 issue. Something of a winery "reserve" that is composed of especially selected lots, the latest version of Testarossa's Niclaire sports a full serving of tangy oak spice overlying its ripe, raspberry and red-cherry themes. It is not a big wine when measured against many latter-day Pinots, yet it packs plenty of fruit into its slightly slender, low-tannin frame, and spry acidity keeps it lively while ensuring a few years of growth.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
