Italian Nicola Catena founded this business in 1902 and it is still in her family today. It  is now a state-of-the art winery located in Vista Flores, Mendoza, Argentina. Felipe Stahlschmidt is the chief winemaker. Grapes are grown in the high altitude slopes of Mendoza and hand-selected for quality, ensuring only the best grapes are used. They are then vinified using precise details which preserve their inherent flavors and aromas. All of this contributes to a high quality, value-driven wine. Alamos produces Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Torrontes in young and reserva styles.
