  • Evening Land Pinot Noir Blue Label 2009

Tasted the 2010 vintage first. The 2009 is equally good, if not better. Love the Pinot Noirs from this producer! Read More

  • Hi all! I've recently posted three different lists of organic wines. Since I'm really interested in organic and biodynamic farming, I'd love to hear your tips on favorite wines in these categories. Is there anything you think I should taste? Also, it tends to be a topic on which people have strong opinions. What is yours? What do you think about... Read More

  • Evening Land Vineyards "Celebration" Eola Amity Hills Gamay Noir 2010

The vineyard where this fruit is sourced dates back to 1983 and the result is a funky, savory, vivacious wine that displays gorgeous red currant fruit, refreshing herbal undertones, and mouth watering acidity. A fabulous little ... Read More

This looks much more like Pinot Noir than Gamay, and is extremely lean and acidic on the palate. Some tart red fruit and minerality to spare. Medium finish. On the whole, on... Read More
