The Bourdy family have been making wine around the village of Arlay in the Jura region since at least 1475 making it one of the oldest operating wineries in the world. It is now run by brothers Jean-Franscois and Jean-Philippe.Not surprisingly it is a domaine steeped in tradition although it has been biodynamic since 2005. There are 10 hectares under vine and a range of red, white and sparkling Jura wines are produced.

Currently run by 15th generation Jean Philippe and Jean-François, the brothers Bourdy make wine with respect to their tradition. Lucky for evolved-wine enthusiasts, the domaine has accumulated...
