  • Château Trotanoy Red Bordeaux Blend Pomerol 1999

    Snoothrank:

Medium+ ruby colour with resolving shade of garnet. Clean, developed nose of blackcurrants, Asian salted plums, mulberry leaf and sweet Cuban tobacco leaf. Dry, full-bodied wine with smooth velvet texture, lowish acidity. The tannins have resolved nicely but this is still drinking well with rich flavours of dark berries and creamy cocoa. Sexy fi... • Merlot Christian Moueix Jean Pierre Moueix França Bordeaux 2005

    Snoothrank:

This wine is past its prime. Not worth buying, even at a reduced rate. Tannins have turned harsh and bitter. Although this wine is dry, it lacks any fruitiness, and is dull. Read More

  • Chateau le Chatelet St Emilion Grand Cru Etablissements Jean Pierre Moueix 2000

    Snoothrank:

Nose: cassis, raspberry, spice, red fruit. Palate: cassis, raspberry, red fruit, soy sauce, spice. Fine, smooth tannins, and balanced acidity. Restrained, elegant, with good fruit character, an excellent Saint-Émilion. Read More

Really great wine tried at Jewel Box back in 2006. Fruity, fragrant and mellow - can't stop on one glass... Still vaguely remember the smell and taste... Miss it so much! Read More

  • Château Magdelaine is quite simply my very favorite estate in all of St. Emilion, and probably would rank in my top five producers from the entire Bordeaux region, if I had to come up with a short list of my favorites. This is one of the best-situated châteaux in the heart and soul of the St. Emilion Côtes, with beautifully laid out vineyards pl... Read More
