In 1950, nine wine producers from the agriculturally rich Emilia-Romagna region "united" to form the Cantine Cooperative Riunite. The new association enabled the winemakers to purchase better equipment, share new technical ideas and technologies, and improve both the production and the quality of their wines. This has worked out very well for the winemakers and consumers. Today, over 50 years later, there are 1,200 dedicated growers who grow grapes for the production of Riunite-the world's leading wine exporter in the world! Vinification (the act of making grape juice into wine) takes place under the watchful eye of Master Oenologist Vanni Lottici and his staff of experts. In June 1993, Riunite was the first winery in Europe to be granted "Certified Quality" status. These standards guarantee consumers that their purchases have been rigorously controlled at every stage of production: from the moment the grapes arrive at the winery until the bottles are shipped. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • Riunite Raspberry Riunite Raspberry

Sweet wet after dinner wine that has a slight scent of raspberry and a whole lot of raspberry flavour. Good balance, not overly candy sweet (like DeKuyper's Razzmatazz) and only a hit of tart bite. A bit light on alcohol flavour, this is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for sangria sippers and fruit cocktail consumers. Read More

  • Riunite Lambrusco Rose Premier

As a long time fan of both Riunite's Lambrusco and the Rose, I figured this blend would be an easy win. Slightly crisp, certainly wet and sweet, the light wine rivals a white zinfandel in color as well as these characteristics. In flavour, something seems lost in translation as the two grape varieties conflict more than marry in taste. Hints ... Read More

  • Why did they change the wine? It tastes OK but I like the original taste better. If your gonna add fizz to it, then sell it is a wine cooler. I miss the original lambrusco.... I used to also cook with it a lot now it's too fizzy.

  • I love your sweet bubbling wines..would like to see the small 6 packs like Sutter puts out. Single folk like to have wine with their dinner, but opening a larger bottle is not practical because the wines go flat.. the smaller size is just enough for 1 person to have with dinner.

  • Hot cocoa pairs well with holiday movies, but after the sun sets, the fire ... Brown ChristmasRiunite was popular when this movie came out in 1965. • I have noticed a HUGE change in the Emilia! Not for the better! I by accident bought the Daunia and found it to be what the Emilia used to be, maybe a smidge smoother. What has caused this change? I have actually thought that some of the bottles I purchased were bad! Whats going on??
